She was born in a rural village, Shirley, Limpopo and was mentored by her mother and the exceptional women who surrounded her.

She is a trained General Nurse and Midwife with a Bcur degree in Nursing Management, Occupational Health Nursing, a Diploma in Operating Theatre Nursing Science, Diploma in Nursing Education, Certificate in Decontamination and Sterilization, and a leadership coach and mentor certification.
